Community Guidelines
Last updated October 5, 2026
Easyfixo works because clients and pros can trust people they have never met. These guidelines say what that trust means in practice. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. The basics
- Be honest. Describe the job, your skills and your prices as they are.
- Be reliable. A booking is a promise about a time and a price. Keep it, or cancel as early as you can with a real reason.
- Be respectful. Treat the other person and their property the way you would want yours treated. No harassment, discrimination, threats or slurs, in person or in messages.
- Keep it on the platform. Book and pay through Easyfixo. It is what makes the protections on this page work.
2. For clients
Post real jobs. One job per request, described accurately, with photos that show the work (not your house number, mail or documents). Don't post a job to collect quotes you don't intend to act on.
Answer and decide. Pros set time aside to offer. Accept or decline offers within a reasonable time, and be reachable on the day of the job.
Don't ask for work that needs a license the pro doesn't have. Electrical, plumbing and gas work usually need a licensed trade. If a pro says they can't do part of a job, that is the right answer.
Pay what was agreed. The price in the offer is the price, unless you and the pro agree a change before extra work is done. Asking a pro to take cash off the platform to skip the fee is a breach of the Terms.
Give access and a safe place to work. Clear the work area, secure pets, and tell the pro about anything hazardous.
3. For pros
Offer only what you can do, when you can do it. Keep your services, area and hours accurate. Pause your profile when you are away instead of letting invites lapse.
Hold the licenses, permits and insurance your work requires. It's your legal responsibility, and clients rely on it. Keep what you told us about your credentials up to date.
Show up, on time, as yourself. Tap "I'm on my way" so the client knows. The person who arrives must be the person on the account. If you need help with a job, tell the client first.
Price clearly, change prices only with agreement. If the job turns out to be bigger than described, stop and agree the new price with the client before continuing. Enter the final price honestly when you mark the job complete.
Leave the place as you found it. Clean up after the work, and report any damage immediately rather than hoping it goes unnoticed.
No poaching. Don't invite clients you met through Easyfixo to book you directly next time, and don't use their contact details for marketing.
4. Safety and privacy
- Keep your personal contact details to what the job needs. Addresses are shared only after a booking; keep them that way.
- If you feel unsafe during a job, leave and report it. Nobody will be penalized for walking away from an unsafe situation.
- Never ask the other person for their sign-in code, and never share yours.
- Report anything that looks like fraud, a fake profile or someone working under another person's account.
5. Reviews
- Write about what happened on that booking, honestly.
- No trading reviews for discounts, no reviewing yourself or your friends, no retaliation reviews.
- Don't include anyone's personal information in a review.
- Reviews are blind until both are in, or 14 days have passed, so neither side can react to the other's.
We remove reviews that break these rules. We don't remove reviews just because they are negative.
6. Reporting a problem
Something went wrong with a job? Use "Report a problem" on the booking while it is in progress or awaiting confirmation. Any payment held on the platform stays held until it's resolved. We review every report and contact both sides by email.
For anything that isn't tied to a single booking, such as harassment, suspected fraud or a safety concern, email [email protected].
7. What happens when guidelines are broken
Most issues are misunderstandings and end with a conversation. When a guideline is broken we may warn you, remove content, cancel bookings, withhold or return a held payment, pause your profile, or close your account, depending on how serious and how repeated the behavior is. Fraud, threats, discrimination and working under someone else's identity lead to immediate removal.
